Appointment Calendar

Service appointments

A service appointment typically refers to a scheduled time slot or reservation made with a service provider, such as an Automotive shop, Beauty and Wellness, Technology, Home services, or any other business that offers services by appointment. These appointments are arranged in advance to ensure that the service provider can allocate the necessary resources, such as personnel, equipment, and time, to meet the customer's needs efficiently.

Propose appointment

Service providers are responsible for booking service appointments and should propose a time and date as far in advance as practical. Once a service request is accepted, providers can propose an appointment time from the Confirmed Jobs tab along with a note to the customer. Customers will be promptly notified of the proposed appointment.

Booking service appointments is a requirement, and in case of a dispute, the absence of an appointment may be considered a disadvantage for the provider.

Customer acceptance

"Appointment acceptance" refers to the customer's confirmation or agreement to a scheduled meeting or engagement. It signifies that the customer has acknowledged the proposed time and date for the appointment and has agreed to be present or participate as planned.

Customers will be promptly informed of the proposed appointment and will have the option to accept or reject the proposed time and date. Ultimately, it is up to the provider and the customer to agree on a mutually acceptable appointment time.

Manage appointments

Providers have the option to reschedule a proposed or previously accepted appointment, which will result in the cancellation of the existing appointment with notification sent to the customer. Typically, providers are expected to propose a new appointment along with a note to the customer. The customer will then need to accept the new appointment time and date.

In certain cases, customers may cancel a booked appointment and request the provider to reschedule. It is anticipated that the provider and the customer will work together to reach an agreement on a mutually acceptable appointment time.

Calendar

The appointment calendar, also known as a scheduling calendar, serves as a tool for organizing and managing service appointments.

When an appointment is proposed, it will appear in orange. Once it's approved (booked) by the customer, it will change to green. Finished and cancelled appointments will be displayed in grey.

Providers can click on green or orange appointments in the calendar to manage them efficiently.
