Customers specify whether tasks should be completed at their location or yours, in person or remotely, and provide deadlines for completion.

Can I get alerts or notifications for new jobs?

Yes, that's correct! We'll notify you via email or by posting the job on your dashboard whenever new service requests that match your interests become available.

How does payment work on Service Universe?

Once you've commenced a job, you'll find assurance in knowing that your payment has been safeguarded by Service Universe. After finishing the service and requesting payment, the customer receives an invoice for the job. The payment is then securely transferred to your wallet.

Service Universe applies an automatic deduction for service fees upon payment transfer. These fees cover various costs like transactions, supplier costs, and platform maintenance aimed at enhancing the Provider experience, ultimately increasing your potential for earning more.

What steps can I take to win bidding for a job?

Here are some tips that can significantly boost your chances of getting chosen. When crafting your personal message, make sure to clearly explain why you're the ideal candidate for the job. Additionally, keep in mind that the customer may not be aware of your skills, so ensure your profile is complete with images of previous work, promo video, and any relevant qualifications. The more information you provide about your expertise and services, the higher your chances of winning more jobs!

Why do I need to submit documents in my profile?

Providers are required to submit identification and other documents for a background check to ensure the safety and security of the platform. This process helps verify the identity of providers and confirms that they meet certain eligibility criteria, such as age requirements or professional qualifications. It also helps build trust among the community by providing assurance that individuals using the platform are genuine and have undergone a screening process. Service Universe caters to both individual entrepreneurs and businesses, offering a flexible interface that allows them to handle as many service requests as they find convenient. Providers have the autonomy to set their availability, manage their workload, and create their schedule. This flexibility ensures that even during slower periods, Service Universe can help keep your personnel occupied.

How can I determine the best timing for a job?

Service providers are responsible for arranging appointments. Customers can reach out to providers and request service appointments for confirmed jobs through chat.

The provider must propose a service appointment to the customer in advance using the Service Universe calendar. The customer will be notified of the proposed appointment instantly and will have the choice to accept or reject it. The provider will be notified of the decision instantly.

If the customer accepts the appointment, the date and time will be visible in the dashboard. Both the customer and the provider will be able to reschedule a booked appointment up until the job is started.
